On the Nature of First Posts

First posts in journals are a momentous event. After all, they set the tone for the entries to come, and are designed to entice readership - is this a blog of intelligent discussion on world events? Or perhaps a discourse on philosophy or some other academic interest? Maybe a pop culture repository, or a venue for an open conversation on the making and enjoyment of music?

Or is it, let's say, a place where a fucking idiot like myself can wax poetic on all the stupid shit that runs through his oversized coconut brain?

This is truly an important decision to made, and one that obviously requires months - nay, years - of dedicated thought and analysis. But I'm lazy, so fuck it.

Let's go with the "Coconut Brain" thing.
